Calendar

Let Transcript Audio read your calendar to name meetings after their events: Calendar on a Mac, classic Outlook on Windows.

Last updated

Calendar access is optional. With it, meetings are named after the calendar event at the same time, attendee names are suggested for speakers, and you can choose to record only calls that are in your calendar. Without it, meetings are named from the call and the transcript.

On a Mac

The app reads the Calendar app, including any Google or Microsoft 365 account you have added to it.

  1. When macOS asks, choose Allow Full Access. "Add Events Only" cannot read events.
  2. To change it later: System Settings > Privacy & Security > Calendars, then switch on Transcript Audio with full access.

On Windows

The app reads classic Outlook on this PC. The new Outlook for Windows (the one with a switch in the top corner) and calendars in a browser cannot be read.

Classic Outlook may show a warning that a program is trying to access it when it cannot see your antivirus status. Make sure Windows Security recognises your antivirus, then allow the access.
