In short
On Premium and Pro Converser and Teams, “unlimited” means there is no cap on the number of meetings you record, transcribe or summarise. We never block you for using it a lot. This page sets out the few limits that do exist, so there are no surprises.
Cloud transcription: about 120 hours a month
Cloud transcription is included for normal use, which we treat as up to about 120 hours of meetings per user each calendar month. That is roughly six hours of meetings every working day.
If you go past it in a month:
- recording keeps working;
- transcription keeps working, but switches to transcription on your own computer, or to a slower cloud queue, until the next month starts;
- summaries and everything else keep working as normal;
- there is no extra charge, and we will tell you in the app when it happens.
Transcription on your own computer is never limited.
One live recording at a time
Each account can record one meeting at a time. A plan is for one person, so starting a recording on a second device stops you sharing an account between people. You can still install the app on all the devices your plan allows.
“Still recording?” after 4 hours
If a single recording reaches 4 hours, the app asks whether you are still in the meeting. Say yes and it carries on. If there is no answer, it stops and saves what it has recorded, so a forgotten recording does not run all night.
What is not fair use
Sharing one account between several people, reselling the service, or using automated tools to send audio that is not from real meetings. If we see this, we will contact you first and talk it through before taking any action under our Terms.
Changes
If we ever change these limits we will update this page, tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, and any change will not apply during a period you have already paid for.
