End-to-end encrypted: files are encrypted on your computer before they upload and unlocked in your browser with your recovery key. We cannot read them. Available on every plan, Free included, as a separate monthly add-on.

How it stays private
- Your computer encrypts each file before it uploads. Only encrypted data leaves your computer.
- We store the encrypted files in the EU. Without your key they are unreadable, to us as well.
- In the dashboard, your browser unlocks them with your recovery key. The key never comes to us.
End-to-end encrypted means we cannot read your meetings, and nor can anyone who gets hold of our storage. Keep your recovery key safe: without it, we cannot unlock your files for you. If you cancel the add-on, your files become read-only and downloadable for 30 days, then they are deleted.

Frequently asked questions
Which plans can add Cloud Storage?
Every plan, Free included. Cloud Storage is a separate monthly add-on, so you can add it without changing your plan.
Can you read my meetings?
No. Files are encrypted on your computer before they upload and can only be unlocked in your browser with your recovery key. We store the encrypted files, but we cannot read them.
What if I lose my recovery key?
Keep it somewhere safe. Because we cannot read your files, we cannot unlock them for you without it. Your meetings are still on the computer that recorded them.
Where are my files stored?
In the EU.
Can I share a meeting with someone?
Not from Cloud Storage. It is private to you, and there are no share links. You can always download a file and send it yourself.
Does video count toward my storage?
Yes. Uploading video is optional, and when you do, it counts toward your storage like everything else.
What happens if I run out of space?
New uploads pause until you free up space or move to a bigger tier. Tiers go from 5 GB to 1 TB.
What happens if I cancel?
Your files become read-only and stay downloadable for 30 days. After that they are deleted.
Do my meetings still save on my computer?
Yes. Transcript.audio always saves your meetings on your computer. Cloud Storage adds an encrypted copy you can reach from your browser.
