Subscription Terms
Version 2026-10-31
1. About these terms
These Subscription Terms apply when you buy a paid Transcript.audio plan (a “subscription”) from Harvie Software Solutions Ltd (“we”, “us”). They add to our Terms of Service, Fair Use Policy and Refund Policy. If these terms and the Terms of Service disagree about a subscription, these terms apply. You accept them by ticking the box at checkout; we keep a record of the version you accepted and when.
2. The free trial
- We may offer a free trial of Plus or Pro. It covers your first 3 AI meeting conversations (recorded meetings of 2 minutes or more), with no time limit. A payment card is required to start it.
- Unless you cancel first, your paid subscription starts automatically when your 3rd AI meeting conversation ends, and we charge your card the price shown when you started the trial for the plan and billing cycle you chose (today: Plus $12 a month or $124 a year; Pro $18 a month or $179 a year, plus any tax shown at checkout).
- Cancel before then, in one click, and you pay nothing. There is one free trial per person and per payment card, whichever plan you pick.
3. Automatic renewal
Your subscription is billed in advance and renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. We charge the card on your account at each renewal. If a payment fails, we may retry it and, if it still fails, pause or end your subscription and move your account to Free.
Introductory offer: when we show one, new subscribers who choose yearly billing pay a lower price for their first year only (currently Plus $99 for the first year, then $124/year; Pro $119 for the first year, then $179/year). It applies once, to the first yearly payment of a new subscription (after a free trial, to the first payment when the trial ends). It does not apply to monthly billing, to plan changes or to existing or returning subscribers, and it cannot be combined with another discount. The subscription then renews automatically at the standard yearly price shown with the offer until you cancel. That renewal price is part of the offer you accept, not a price increase.
4. Prices and price changes
- You pay the price shown at checkout. Prices are in US dollars; any tax is shown before you pay.
- We may change our prices at any time. A change for new customers does not change an existing subscription. If we raise the price of your subscription, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and it applies from your next renewal after that notice. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account page, the billing portal or the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal: your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period you have paid for, and your account then moves to Free.
6. Refunds and your 14-day cancellation right
- There are no refunds for part of a billing period, or for a period you did not use, except where these terms, our Refund Policy or the law say otherwise.
- Consumers in the UK and the EU normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. At checkout you ask us to start your subscription straight away and acknowledge that you lose this 14-day right once it starts. Even so, our Refund Policy gives a full refund of your first payment if you ask within 14 days of it.
7. Our control of the Service
To keep improving and running the Service, we may at any time:
- change, suspend or discontinue any feature, model, provider, integration or limit, or the app itself;
- set and enforce fair use limits (see the Fair Use Policy) and slow down or pause use that goes beyond them;
- carry out maintenance, which may make the Service unavailable for short periods.
If a change takes away a main feature of your plan during a period you have already paid for, we will tell you, and you may cancel and get a refund for the unused part of that period.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your subscription and account, straight away where reasonable, if you break these terms or the Terms of Service, misuse or abuse the Service (including getting around trial, device or fair use limits), fail to pay, or use the Service unlawfully. If we end your subscription for one of these reasons, no refund is due. If we end it for any other reason, we will give you reasonable notice and refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
9. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for telling everyone in a meeting you record and getting their consent where the law requires it, and for using the Service, its recordings, transcripts and AI output lawfully.
- AI output can be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it.
- Keep your account secure, your payment details up to date, and your own backups of your meetings.
10. No other promises
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and the rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded, we make no other promises about the Service, including that it will be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for a particular purpose.
11. Our liability
- Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your subscription is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for loss caused by recordings made without the notice or consent the law requires.
- These limits apply as far as the law allows and are subject to section 12.
12. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes:
- our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any other liability or right that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for example, that digital content and services are as described, of satisfactory quality and provided with reasonable care and skill, and your remedies if they are not).
If you are a consumer, we are also responsible for loss that was a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription. If you do not agree, cancel before it applies; if you keep your subscription after that, the new version applies from then. New purchases are always made on the version shown at checkout.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and consumers in the European Union may bring proceedings where they live.
